We trust that our years of hands on experience, coupled with the factory training our technicians receive, will
help us solve your equipment problems.
Please understand that repair/replacement parts may not be available for certain makes or models. It is suggested to call/e-mail us before driving any significant distance or prior to sending an item to be sure that what you need is available. If you send your item to us print and complete a "TACKLE REPAIR REQUEST FORM" sheet -from
the left margin of this page or from the 'Fishing' or 'Contact us' pages, but if you don't use the form always include your
name, address, city, state, zip, e-mail address and a phone number where you can be reached. Clearly indicate what you
want us to do. If using other than a credit card for payment, be sure to add the proper deposit (and return shipping
fees when required) and to indicate how you want the item returned. ( for example you ship a trolling motor for repair
and indicate that you will pick it up when it's ready ) Indicate how you wish to pay for the service performed.
( for example you mail a reel for service and you can include your charge card information for payment )
If your item is to be serviced under a manufacture's warranty you must state that and also include "proof" of the
purchase date. Some of the companies we work for require that you send return postage, so make sure of what your warranty
covers before sending the item. Warranty repair does not cover accidental damage or abuse. If you dropped it
and now it doesn't work that's not a warranty issue. If the item is not covered by warranty, you will be responsible
for the repair and shipping costs. If there is any doubt, call/e-mail before sending
your item.
We don't want to sound mercenary, but believe it's important that we both know what is expected of each other. The
companies we represent for warranty repair, place us under certain restrictions. In cases, we must supply your proof
of purchase information to the company. Replacement parts can not be issued as warranty items, they must be
installed. Again if there's any question call/e-mail first. We guarantee our work
and any parts that we install for a period of 90 days. Electrical parts that are purchased, and not installed by us, are not guaranteed
and are non-returnable.
Make sure of what you order. If you do not supply a part number we can't guarantee what
we send will be what you think you've ordered. We unfortunately get requests for items such as "the black thing under
the round part". To insure correctness use the model number and the part number. This has been a problem with reels.
Always include any available information on reels ie country of origin, revision number or year/date (on foot). We won't be
responsible for mistakes of this nature.
If it is decided not to repair an item- due to cost or lack of replacement parts- that
item will be returned dis-assembled. If it is decided not to repair an item, the bench fee is still due and will
be deducted from the deposit.
ALL ROD REPAIR IS NON-WARRANTY. For warranty repair on fishing rods contact the rod maker.
